I was recently prescribed Budesonide 3mg DR Capsules to manage my Crohn's disease. After reading a lot about the side effects, I was initially quite anxious. I was wondering, I could use some firsthand experiences. I've been on it for a few weeks now and I noticed a reduction in abdominal pain, which is great. However, I am experiencing some mild stomach upset and feeling tired but not really sure what to do about it. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any advice on managing these side effects would be really appreciated. Also curious about how long it took for others to see significant improvements in their symptoms. Here's to hoping I can find some relief soon!

I had severe allergic reaction to this med. Had to go to the ER. So everyone read the side effects and call your doctor at the sign of anything weird. It's not worth the risk for me. I wish someone had warned me before I started taking it.

I've heard mixed things about this drug. Some people swear by it, others had terrible side effects. Just be cautious and stay in close contact with your doctor.

Crohn's is a beast, man. I feel your pain. Hang in there and good luck with the meds!

I took this medication too. I had fatigue, but nothing serious i couldnt handle. The joint and back pain was what bothered me, but i suppose it got better over time.

I've been on Budesonide for about 6 months now and it's helped a lot with my Crohn's symptoms. I did experience some weight gain and mood swings, but my doctor adjusted my dosage and it's been much better. Definitely talk to your doctor about any side effects you're experiencing.

I was on Budesonide for a year and it was a game-changer for my Crohn's. The side effects sucked at first, but they subsided after a few weeks. Stick with it and talk to your doctor if things get too rough.

I was on it for a couple of years and it helped a lot. Ended up getting off it because of side effects. It was a struggle after but i would do it again, worth it,

Dude, if you're feeling tired all the time, make sure you're not taking it on an empty stomach. That made a huge difference for me.

I started with 9mg and stepped down to 6mg over a couple of months. Now, i am on 3mg. If you are feeling some serious side effects, you should certainly begin to talk to your doc about upping or lowering your dose.

I had a rough time with this one too. The stomach issues were the worst. I ended up switching to another medication that worked better for me.
