I started taking Cabometyx 20mg Tablets a few months ago for my kidney cancer treatment. The doctor explained that it targets specific proteins to slow down the cancer cells' growth and cut off their blood supply. I've been experiencing some side effects but overall, I'm hopeful about the treatment. I've read about some serious side effects like allergic reactions and electrolyte problems. Has anyone else had these issues, or any other severe side effects? Any tips on managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to hear from others who have been on this journey with Cabometyx.

I had a pretty severe reaction after my first dose—fever, chills, the works. My doctor said it was an allergic reaction. They switched me to a different medication, so I haven't taken Cabometyx in a while. I hope you all have better experiences with it. Don't ever ignore the serious side effects.

Stay strong, buddy. Got your back, as best as I can from here.

I just started Cabometyx last week and I'm already feeling the side effects. Feeling weak and dizzy all the time. Has anyone figured out ways to cope with this? I'm eager to find out what I could expect as I proceed.

I've been on Cabometyx for a year now, and it's been a rollercoaster. I've had some serious side effects like dehydration and electrolyte problems. My advice: stay hydrated, monitor your electrolyte levels, and communicate openly with your doctor. You'll figure it out. Find out what you need to get through the ups and downs.

My wife has been on Cabometyx 20mg for a few months now; I can relate to how tough this has been. She's had some trouble swallowing and difficulty eating. Not to mention the emotional toll of any cancer treatment. We're taking it one day at a time, and we'd appreciate hearing from the group about managing it.

What kind of dosage adjustment did they make? I'm on the 20mg and it's been rough.
