I was prescribed Cephalexin 500mg Tablets for a bad case of strep throat. The medication worked wonders, and I felt better within a few days. However, I noticed some side effects that were quite alarming. My doctor told me the same as what people say online: take the full course, even if you feel better. But what side effects can we really expect, and how do we handle them? I’ve seen some scary stories online about severe reactions, and it’s got me a bit worried. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have some advice on what to watch out for?

I found out that Cephalexin can cause liver problems too. My friend had to stop taking it because she got jaundice. Turns out, your liver is important and you should watch for signs of jaundice, like yellow skin or eyes.

I had a similar experience with Cephalexin. It cleared up my skin infection, but I did get some stomach upset and diarrhea. My doctor said that was pretty common, so I just stuck with it and drank lots of water. It’s important to finish the course, even if you feel better, because stopping early can lead to antibiotic resistance.

I’ve had a few days of joint pain since I started taking Cephalexin. Do you think I should get that checked out? Not the most pressing symptom, but it’s a bit concerning.

I would always recommend finishing the full course of antibiotics, no matter how you feel. It’s not worth the risk of the infection coming back, or worse. Plus, antibiotic resistance is a serious issue today.

Has anyone else experienced confusion or hallucinations from Cephalexin? I had a friend who swore they saw things that weren’t there, and they kept feeling weak. It was a bit scary, but I’m glad it didn’t last long.

I am thinking about getting Cephalexin for an upcoming surgery to prevent infections. I'm wondering if anyone has had any weird side effects, or if it’s generally pretty safe. I’m a bit nervous about the possibility of severe side effects.
