I've been taking Darunavir 800mg Tablets for the past year to treat my HIV infection. I've found it to be quite effective in reducing my viral load, but I've also experienced some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I take it with ritonavir and food as prescribed, but I've noticed some significant changes in my body fat distribution and occasional muscle pain. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing these side effects. I've also read about some potentially serious side effects like severe skin reactions and liver problems, so I'm always on the lookout for those symptoms. Has anyone else had to deal with these issues? I'd love to hear your stories and advice.

I've been lucky and haven't had any major side effects, but I do get headaches sometimes. I just take some over-the-counter painkillers and it goes away. I guess everyone's body reacts differently to these meds.

Darunavir has been a lifesaver for me. I've had HIV for a long time, and this med has really helped keep it under control. I just wish the side effects weren't so harsh.

I've had some pretty nasty skin reactions. I broke out in this crazy rash and it took a while to figure out that the Darunavir was the cause. I thought it was something else at first but luckily I got it checked out and my doctor advised me to monitor the situation. I'm not sure exactly how dangerous it could have been, but I'm glad I got it looked at.

Be careful with the liver stuff. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital with jaundice because of Darunavir. It's rare, but it happens. Make sure you get regular blood tests to monitor your liver function.

I've been on Darunavir for a while now and I absolutely hate the body fat changes. I've gained weight in my abdomen and lost it in my limbs. It's been tough on my self-esteem, but my doctor says it's a common side effect. I'm trying to manage it with diet and exercise, but it's slow going. Have any of you found a good way to deal with this?

Seriously, though, the body fat changes are the worst. I feel like I've aged 10 years overnight. It's demoralizing. Any tips for coping with that mentally would be appreciated.

I've had some stomach issues like diarrhea and vomiting. It was pretty rough at first, but it's mostly under control now. I find that eating smaller, more frequent meals helps a lot.

I'm new to this medication and my doctor said it's important to take it with ritonavir or cobicistat and food. Has anyone had issues forgetting to take it with food or the booster pills? How did you manage it?

I had a scary moment with high blood sugar symptoms. I felt really off and had to go to the hospital. Turns out my blood sugar was way too high. Scary stuff.

Dreading the changes in immune system responses. How do you manage the hidden infections? Does anyone have advice? Thanks!
