I was prescribed this injection to help control my irregular heartbeat. The side effects are pretty scary, but I was surprised at how well it worked for me. My doctor told me that the main reason they use this in the hospital instead of daily pills is that it can be really dangerous, but I still don't understand why since I didn't even feel the injection. The medication was a game changer, but now I'm wondering about the side effects. Has anyone else experienced anything serious with this medication? The list is pretty long and I'm a bit worried.

I had to have Diltiazem when I was in the hospital and it was surprisingly painless. The worst side effect I experienced was feeling pretty tired, but nothing too serious. I did, however, get really bad skin irritation that I thought was an allergic reaction.

I was on this for a while and never experienced any serious side effects. Just a bit of dizziness here and there, but nothing major. I think it really depends on the individual.

I've never heard of this drug before. The side effects sound like they could be really dangerous, the description says red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever. My friend's skin just swelled up and she had to be rushed to the hospital. This is really scary.

I've had this drug too and the side effects can be terrifying, even the least serious one which is irritation at the injection site.
