I was prescribed Duloxetine 30mg for managing my fibromyalgia and chronic nerve pain. I've been on it for about 3 months and have experienced mixed results. Initially, I noticed a significant reduction in my pain levels and an improvement in my mood. However, I've also dealt with some unpleasant side effects like nausea, dizziness, and frequent headaches. I'm wondering if these side effects will subside over time or if I should consider switching medications. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Duloxetine? Any advice on managing these side effects would be greatly appreciated.

I've been on Duloxetine for a year now, and while it's helped with my chronic pain, I've had to deal with some nasty side effects. My doctor recommended increasing my water intake and eating smaller, more frequent meals to combat the nausea, and it's actually helped a lot. I also take ibuprofen for headaches. It’s a bit of a trade-off, but I’m handling it better.

I’m on 30mg and it’s been a game-changer for my fibromyalgia pain. I get some dizziness, but I take it in the morning with a full breakfast and it goes away.

It's frustrating, because I have such good pain relief days, but then there are just as many bad days where I feel horrible. I'm hoping this is just a phase.

Duloxetine helped me a lot with my depression and anxiety. Did you try adjusting the dosage? Maybe talking to your doctor about increasing it could help. The side effects might decrease over time or could be managed with other meds.

I gained a bit of weight on this medication. Nothing serious, but it's something to be aware of.

Duloxetine is a heavy hitter — it can take a while for your body to adjust. Give it another month or two. If the side effects persist, definitely speak with your doctor again.

I went through a lot of trial and error with different meds before finding one that worked for me. If Duloxetine isn't working out, don't lose hope. Pain management is a journey, and it can take time to find the right combination.

I took Duloxetine for a while and the side effects were awful. Nausea, dizziness, headaches, and constant sweating. I couldn't take it any longer and switched to something else. If you're considering switching, talk to your doctor about alternatives.

I was on Duloxetine for a while and it was fantastic for my mood and fibromyalgia pain. However, it caused some sexual side effects that I couldn't handle.
