I recently started using Elestrin 0.06% Gel Pump to manage my menopause symptoms, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. I've noticed a significant reduction in hot flashes and vaginal dryness, but I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects listed. Has anyone else experienced any of the serious side effects mentioned, or do you have any tips for managing the more common ones like dizziness or headaches? I've been prescribed a progestin as well, and I'm wondering if anyone can share their experience with that combination. Overall, I'm hoping to get a better understanding of what to expect and how to make the most of this treatment.

I started Elestrin and a progestin combo and it's been alright. I've had some mood swings and occasional stomach cramps but nothing too bad. Just make sure to keep an eye on any unusual symptoms just in case.

I've heard that Elestrin can cause vaginal itching or discharge. Has anyone experienced this and how did you manage it?

Severe headaches and dizziness are not uncommon with hormone therapy. If you experience that, just take it easy, maybe add a few ibuprofen and relax. If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dosage.

Be careful with the application area. I tried to switch it up and got some strange rashes. Stick to the same spot and you should be fine.

I've been using Elestrin for about 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer for my hot flashes. I did experience some initial dizziness, but it passed after a couple of weeks. Just make sure to apply it consistently and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I had some issues with the pump not working properly initially, but I think I've figured it out. Make sure you’re pressing it down all the way and clean the applicator after each use. It’s a bit of a hassle, but worth it for the relief from hot flashes.

Be very careful if you have a history of blood clots. My friend had to stop taking it because of that. Always consult with your doctor before starting any new medication, it's worth the extra step, and it can save you a lot of trouble.
