I've been using Emgality 120mg/ml Auto Injector for about 6 months now, and I've had a mix of experiences. Initially, it seemed like a miracle drug—my migraines were drastically reduced, and the quality of my life improved significantly. However, I recently started experiencing some side effects that have me worried. I've noticed some itching and irritation at the injection site, which is becoming quite bothersome. I've also had a few episodes where I felt a tightening in my chest, but it went away after a few minutes. I'm now wondering if these side effects are worth the migraine prevention. I've done some research, and while I understand that side effects can happen, I'm not sure if they're worth the risk. I've seen others talk about severe allergic reactions, and that's terrifying. I've also read that the medication can cause constipation, which isn't mentioned in the common side effects list. It feels overwhelming. Has anyone else had similar experiences with Emgality? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Maybe I'm just overreacting, but I want to be cautious. Has anyone had positive results that outweigh the negative? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm so glad you brought this up. I've been thinking about trying Emgality but was worried about the side effects. I've had bad reactions to medications in the past, and the thought of an allergic reaction scares me. I've also heard that it can cause constipation, which is something I experience with a lot of medications. I'd rather not deal with that on top of everything else. I'm not sure I can handle the chest tightening either. I'll have to weigh the pros and cons more carefully. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Did you talk to your doctor about those side effects?

I’ve heard mixed things about Emgality. Some people love it, and others have had bad experiences. It sounds like it’s a risk you have to be willing to take. The thought of any side effects is scary, but maybe if it works, it's worth it?. How often do you get the injections? I thought it was every three months. I’ve seen a lot of people saying it works well for them. There's just so much to consider. It's hard to know what to do sometimes. But it's also worth it if it helps. I guess you just have to think it through. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I hope you get some good advice.

I've been on Emgality for a few weeks, and I haven't experienced any side effects yet. The injection is pretty easy to do, and I haven't had any issues with the site. I’m still waiting and seeing if the effects stay positive. But I’ll be keeping a close eye on any changes. I’ve been really careful about it. I’d recommend documenting everything and staying in touch with your doctor. It’s the best way to ensure you’re safe. It’s also good to know that the side effects clear up for some people. At least there’s a bit of hope. I’m glad you posted this. It’s always good to get more information.
