My experience with Erivedge 150mg Capsules for metastatic basal cell carcinoma.
So, I started taking Erivedge 150mg Capsules last month to treat my metastatic basal cell carcinoma. I have read the common side effects that others have reported but would like to hear from others who have used it. Has anyone else experienced some of the rarer side effects? I've heard that muscle problems can be severe. Are there any tips to manage these? Also, are there any tips to manage hair loss while taking this medication? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had a really bad reaction to Erivedge and got some blisters on my skin. I stopped taking it immediately and my doctor switched me to another medication. I have warned anyone who might be taking erivedge of the severe skin reactions I had.
Can anyone explain what the Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and what is the difference between that and some of the other severe side effects? My cancer specialist said I was at higher risk.
I've been on Erivedge for about 6 months now. The hair loss was tough at first, but it's manageable. I started using a good wig and scarves. Also, exercise helped with some of the muscle issues. I've noticed some muscle tenderness, but nothing too severe. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body.
I've been on Erivedge for a couple of months and haven't experienced any severe side effects so far. Just some mild hair loss and a bit of constipation. I try to stay active and eat a balanced diet to keep my energy level up. Fingers crossed that it keeps working!
Just started Erivedge and I'm already feeling tired all the time. Anyone have tips to keep my energy up?
Erivedge has been a lifesaver for me. I had basal cell carcinoma that had spread, and surgery wasn't an option. Yes, the side effects are tough, but the trade-off is worth it. I had some muscle pain at first, and my doctor recommended physical therapy. It's made a huge difference.
I had some really bad muscle spasms at first. My doctor gave me a prescription to help with that. It got better over time, but it was tough at first. Just keep working with your doctor.
Anyone else notice a change in taste? I can't stand coffee anymore, and that's been a bummer.
