I recently started using Follistim AQ (900iu) 1.08ml for fertility treatment, and I wanted to share my experience. So far, it's been a bit of a roller coaster. The injections are a hassle, but I've also experienced some side effects like headaches and fatigue. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing these side effects. I've noticed a bit of stiffness in my legs but I'm not sure if that's related. I'm also wondering if anyone has had any experience with severe side effects and what to do to mitigate them. I'm really hoping to get some insights to improve my journey with this medication.

I had some injection site irritation, but it was manageable. Just apply a cold compress if it gets too irritated. Also, make sure to rotate injection sites.

I'm on my third round of Follistim and I haven't had any major issues. I've had some mild nausea but nothing too bad. Have you tried taking the injections later in the day? It helped me with sleep quality

I've been doing 900iu for a pretty long time and I am absolutely fine. I feel like the other person is just looking for attention. That dosage is perfectly safe. Be cautious and careful with what you read online. Also, the headaches can be managed pretty easily with paracetamol

I feel like everyone's experience is different. I had some stomach issues but they were easily managed just by changing my diet. I'm lucky I haven't had any severe issues.

I've been on Follistim for a while now and I haven’t had any severe side effects. What’s the dosage you are taking? 900iu is pretty high. Maybe that's why you are feeling side effects?

I had a friend who had allergic reactions like hives and swelling. It was scary, so just be really careful and keep an eye out for those symptoms. Take Benadryl just in case. Good luck with everything!
