I recently started taking Fycompa 4mg tablets to manage my epilepsy. I was really hoping this medication would reduce my seizures. I've heard good things about perampanel calming overactive brain signals and being effective when taken once daily, usually at bedtime. I've been taking it for a few weeks, and I've noticed some improvements, but I've also experienced some side effects that I'd like to discuss. The most common ones for me have been dizziness and drowsiness, which can be pretty tough to deal with. However, I'm also a bit concerned about the more serious side effects listed in the medication guide. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice!

I was worried about the weight gain because I've had issues with other medications, but so far, so good. Just keeping an eye on it.

I didn't have any major side effects, but the bruising was a bit concerning. It's like my body became a walking bruise. For some reason, it was a side effect I didn't expect.

I was skeptical about taking seizure medication that might have severe side effects. However, the benefits of reduced seizures for me outweighed the risks. Always remember to keep your doctor in the loop.

Serious question: anyone experienced difficulty walking? I feel like I'm walking drunk sometimes.

Fycompa has been a game-changer for me. My seizures have significantly reduced, and the side effects were mild compared to other medications I've tried.

I've been on Fycompa for a while now, and I can definitely say that the dizziness and fatigue can be intense at first. My doctor suggested maybe taking it earlier in the day and then slowly moving it back to the evening to help ease my adjustment. It really helped.

I'm on my second week, and I'm already feeling the drowsiness. It's tough to stay awake during the day. Any tips on managing this?

I had hallucinations when I started, and it was terrifying. I called my neurologist, and we adjusted the dose. I still have some memory issues, but it's manageable. If you're experiencing anything serious, don't wait—talk to your doctor.

Be very careful with this one. Swollen glands and fever are no joke. I had to switch medications and I hope you have a better experience.
