I've been taking Gleostine 100mg (Lomustine) for my brain tumor and wanted to share my experience. It's been a challenging journey, but I'm hopeful. I take it once every six weeks, and while the side effects have been tough, I'm trying to stay positive. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have. I'm really struggling with the nausea and hair loss, and not sure how to manage them.

Gleostine is rough, but it's worth it if it's helping. I had severe fatigue and weakness, but my doctor recommended a regular exercise routine, which surprisingly helped a lot. It might be worth talking to your oncologist about.

Your doctor will be able to give you a lot of personalized advice to make the side effects more manageable. Have they given you any tips? Having a support group of people going through the same thing can be so helpful too. There are a number of online communities for people with different types of cancer.

I had a hard time with the mouth sores and trouble swallowing. My doctor recommended using a special mouth rinse and eating soft foods. It made a big difference and helped me manage the side effects.

Hang in there. I had a similar experience with another chemo drug, and it was rough, but staying positive really helped.
