I've been prescribed Griseofulvin Ultr 125mg Tablets to treat a persistent fungal infection in my nails. The doctor said it's crucial to finish the entire course, even if the symptoms improve. I started taking it a week ago and so far, no major side effects, but I'm a bit worried about the potential ones. Has anyone else taken this? What was your experience? I'm especially curious about how long it took to see improvements and any tips for dealing with the side effects. Also, what are your thoughts on the potential risks? Are they really that serious?

I didn't have any side effects, but I heard the liver problems can be serious. I've been drinking a lot of water and eating right, just to be safe.

Make sure you finish the entire course, even if your doctor doesn't stress it enough. It's so important to clear up the infection completely, or it will just come back. I made the mistake of stopping early and had to start all over again.

So, how long did you have the nail fungus before you started treatment? Mine's been there for years. It's so embarrassing to wear open-toed shoes.

I was slightly worried at the start with the side effects, but I think that the benefits of completing the treatment are worth the risk. I just finished my course and my nail fungus is almost gone. Hang in there!

I took Griseofulvin for a similar problem and it worked wonders. Make sure to eat a fatty meal before taking it—helps with absorption. I didn't have any serious side effects, just some mild headaches. Took about 3 months to see significant improvement.

This stuff is a godsend. My feet have never felt better. I'm glad I finally went to the doctor about it.

Just take it as prescribed, and you'll be fine. Don't let the side effects scare you too much. If it gets really bad, go to the ER.

I had to stop taking it because it gave me terrible stomach pain. Talk to your doctor about it if you experience anything like that.
