I've been taking Haloperidol 0.5mg Tablets for the past six months to manage symptoms of schizophrenia. Overall, it has been effective in reducing hallucinations and delusions, but I've experienced some side effects that I didn't expect. I've been managing them with the help of my doctor, but I'm curious to hear from others who have had similar experiences. Has anyone else struggled with the side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'd love to hear some tips and tricks. Also, I've been wondering if anyone has had success with lowering the dosage over time. I'd appreciate some insights from others who have been through it.

I've been on 0.5mg for a few months. I've been experiencing some restlessness and trouble sleeping. My doctor has not suggested any changes yet, but I'm trying to manage it with exercise. Anyone else have luck with exercise?

I've never taken Haloperidol but I've heard about some of the side effects. Has anyone tried other medications and found them to be better or worse? I think it's important to know all our options if we ever need to switch.

I've been on Haloperidol for a while and I experienced some of the same side effects. The dry mouth was really annoying, but drinking lots of water helped. Also, my doctor suggested chewing gum to boost saliva production.

I've been trying different ways to manage the stiffness and trouble moving around. Yoga has helped a lot. If you're the kind of person that can't get into yoga there are also stretches you can do at home. Keep us updated with how it goes!
