I've been on Harvoni for a few months now to treat my chronic hepatitis C. I took Harvoni and it was a life-saver. I had some fatigue and headaches at first, but they went away after a few weeks. My doc kept me informed and monitored me the whole time - luckily no severe reactions. Blood tests showed I was clear after 8 weeks. It’s like I have a new lease on life for only a few months of treatment. It's an amazing drug.
I heard Harvoni can be expensive. Has anyone had issues with insurance coverage? I'm hoping to start soon but not sure if I can afford it.
Harvoni really can be life changing if you have HCV. I was really surprised that I didn't have any side effects at all, but my doctor said everyone's different. Just make sure to keep in touch with your doctor and get all the blood tests they recommend.
I got a strong rash after taking it for a week and my doc said to stop immediately. Turns out I found this article online about this Harvoni causing some pretty nasty allergic reactions that no one talking about. I guess the drug is not for everyone.

My partner is on Harvoni. She's had some trouble sleeping and a bit of muscle pain, but overall, she's doing well. I think it's worth it if it cures HCV. We are hopeful.
I had a really bad reaction to Harvoni. I got this horrible rash and swelling in my throat. It was terrifying. I ended up in the ER and had to switch medications. Be careful, and if you get any signs of an allergic reaction, get to a doctor ASAP.
