I've been using Imiquimod 3.75% Cream Pump 28 Doses for the treatment of actinic keratosis. It's been a bit of a journey, to be honest. I started noticing those rough, scaly patches on my face and hands, and my dermatologist recommended this cream to boost my immune system's response to them. The application is straightforward—just a thin layer to the affected area every other day for a few weeks. However, the side effects have been a bit tough. I've experienced some redness, itching, and even a bit of swelling around the application sites. I've had to take a break a couple of times to let my skin calm down, but overall, it seems to be working. Has anyone else dealt with severe side effects, or am I just unlucky? Any tips for managing the discomfort?

You're brave for sharing your experience. It's helpful to know what to expect. I've been putting off this treatment because I'm scared of the side effects, but your post is giving me the courage to go ahead.

I had to stop using this cream due to an allergic reaction. Wheezing and chest tightness are no joke. Make sure you're not allergic to the ingredients. It's scary stuff.

I'm glad I found this thread. I've been struggling with the side effects too, but my doctor said it's all normal. Just hang in there! It's worth it in the long run!

Be wary of the swelling glands. I had to take a break because my lymph nodes were swollen and it was pretty uncomfortable. Make sure to talk to your doctor if that happens.

The burning and itching drove me crazy, but I stuck with it. I took a couple of days off as my doctor advised, and it went away. But I had to remind myself it was worth it to avoid skin cancer.
