I've been on Isotretinoin 40mg Capsules for severe acne for the past three months, and I wanted to share my experience and seek advice from others who have been through this treatment. Isotretinoin has been a game-changer for me, but the side effects have been challenging. I've dealt with dry skin, chapped lips, and minor nosebleeds, but nothing too severe so far. I've heard horror stories about mood changes and depression, which are really worrying me. Has anyone else experienced these side effects? How did you cope? I've also noticed that my eyes feel a bit irritated, and I'm wondering if this is a side effect or if it's something else. Any tips on how to manage these symptoms would be greatly appreciated. I'm also curious if anyone has used Isotretinoin long-term and how their skin has fared post-treatment.

I had to stop taking it because of severe back pain. It was horrible. I wish I had known about this side effect before starting. I had to switch to something else, and it was not as effective

I had horrible mood swings and depression on this stuff. My doctor had to lower my dose, and I started seeing a therapist. It's not worth the risk if you're already prone to depression.

It does work, I just had to switch to a lower dose. Stay hydrated, keep an eye on your mood, and don't ignore any severe symptoms. It's a tough pill to swallow, but it's worth it if your acne is bad enough.

Isotretinoin definitely cleared up my acne, but the dryness was insane. I used a heavy moisturizer and drank tons of water. Worth it, though.

I've been on it for a year already, and my skin is perfect, but I had to visit my doctor to make sure the side effects were monitored regularly. I experienced hair loss, and I used to eat dry fruits to overcoming the dryness and dehydration.

I'm on month 2 and feel like a lizard. My lips are so dry, and I've had to switch to non-cheap moisturizers. But my acne is finally starting to clear up. Hang in there, it's worth it.
