I've been using Jentadueto 2.5mg/500mg tablets for the past few months to manage my type 2 diabetes, and I wanted to share my experience. Jentadueto is a combination of linagliptin and metformin, which together help control blood sugar levels. I've noticed a significant improvement in my blood sugar readings, but I've also experienced some side effects. The most common ones for me have been stomach issues like gas and upset stomach, which I was able to manage with dietary changes. However, I also had a few episodes of severe joint pain, which was pretty alarming. I contacted my doctor immediately, and they advised me on how to manage it. I'm curious about other people's experiences with this medication. What side effects have you encountered, and how did you deal with them? Is it worth considering a switch to a different medication like Metformin XR 500mg Tablets to avoid these side effects?

I've heard that some people experience heart failure symptoms, but I haven't seen any reports from people actually taking Jentadueto. Has anyone here had any issues related to heart failure?

My mom had an allergic reaction to Jentadueto last year. Her doctor switched her to a different medication and she's been fine since. Jadee, that's me.

This medication is not for everyone, but I feel like it's helped me a lot. I've lost a good amount of weight, and my blood sugar levels are much better controlled.

I had severe joint pain too, but my doctor told me it might not be directly related to the medication. I'm still not sure what caused it, but it was scary.

I switched from Jentadueto to Metformin XR 500mg Tablets and felt better almost immediately. I wish I had known about this sooner.
