I'm an oncology nurse, and I've seen patients handle Melphalan differently. Some have no issues, others have a tough time. Just be patient and stay in touch with your healthcare team.
Make sure to report any infusion site reactions immediately. I had a small infection once and it was caught just in time. No big deal, but could have been.
I had a bad reaction to it. Had to switch to something else, but it's worth a shot. Listen to your body and talk to your doctor

Melo is a powerful drug. Stay hydrated. It helped me with the side effects, especially the stomach issues.
