I was recently prescribed Mirapex ER 2.25mg tablets to help manage my Parkinson's symptoms. It's been about a month now, and I've noticed some improvements in my movement control, but also some side effects. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication long-term. What side effects did you experience, and how did you cope with them? Were there any unexpected benefits? I'd love to know if anyone has had to switch to a different medication and why.

I started taking Mirapex ER a few weeks ago, and it's been a roller coaster. The first week I felt like I was moving better, but then I got this weird muscle pain. It was intense, but my doctor said it's common and should pass. I hope it works out for others too!

I've been on Mirapex ER for a couple of years, and while it's helped with my symptoms, I experienced some of those uncontrollable urges. It was tough initially, but I managed to control them by being mindful of my triggers. I found keeping a journal helped a lot!

I switched to Mirapex ER from another medication because of the extended-release feature. It's been a game-changer for me—no more multiple doses a day! Plus, it has helped with my symptoms without too many side effects.

I've been on it for a few years and haven't experienced the uncontrollable urges, but I did have some changes in posture. It was weird at first, but my doc adjusted the dose, and it got better. Keep an eye on that and talk to your doctor if you notice any changes. Good luck!

I've been on Mirapex ER for a year and haven't had any major issues. I've had some vivid dreams and a bit of dizziness, but nothing that's made me stop taking it. It's really helped with my Parkinson's symptoms.

I started Mirapex ER a few months back, and I've noticed that I get really drowsy, especially in the afternoon. Has anyone else experienced this? It makes it hard to stay awake during the day.

I had some really bad hallucinations on Mirapex ER. It was terrifying. I had to switch to something else, but I hope it works for you—just be careful, OK?

I'm so glad you shared this! I'm on the fence about starting it, but hearing about the side effects is helpful.
