I was diagnosed with metastatic basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and started taking Odomzo 200mg Capsules about six months ago. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has been on this journey. The medication has been effective so far in keeping the cancer at bay, but the side effects have been challenging. I've experienced hair loss, fatigue, and some muscle pain, which has made daily activities a bit tougher. I've been managing these with the help of my doctor, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences or tips for coping. Also, I've been worried about the rare but serious side effects like high blood sugar and allergic reactions. Has anyone had to deal with these, and how did you handle them?

I've had some muscle pain but nothing too severe. I've been taking over the counter pain relievers and it's been manageable. My doctor also recommended stretching exercises to help with the discomfort.

I've been on Odomzo for a while and honestly, the change in taste was the weirdest side effect for me. Food just doesn't taste the same anymore. Anyone else experience this?

I've been on Odomzo for a year now, and while the side effects are tough, it's been worth it to keep the cancer under control. I've had to cut down on high sugar foods and monitor my blood sugar levels regularly. Also, I've found that light exercise helps with fatigue. Best of luck to you! Everyone reacts differently.

I was worried about the high blood sugar side effects too, but my doctor said it's rare and to just keep an eye out for any symptoms. So far, so good for me!

This thread is so informative. I'm considering alternative treatments and this is helpful. Thank you!
