I was prescribed Oseni 12.5-30mg tablets recently to manage my type 2 diabetes. The combination of Alogliptin and Pioglitazone has been helping my body regulate blood sugar, but I've had some concerns about the side effects. The urgent side effects list is scary, especially the risk of pancreatitis, skin reactions, and liver problems. Has anyone else experienced any of these? Also, what can I do to minimize these risks? I want to stay on the medication if possible, but I need to be vigilant. Any tips or similar experiences would be appreciated!

Stick to the doctor's advice and monitoring closely. I think we all need to educate ourselves more about these medications and their risks.

I've been eating healthier and exercising more, which has helped manage my diabetes. I'm not sure if it's directly related to Oseni, but it's worth mentioning. A healthy lifestyle can make a big difference.

I switched from Oseni to another medication because the joint pain was unbearable. It started slowly but got worse over time. I don't think it's worth the risk if you're experiencing pain. Consult your doc immediately if it happens!

The severe joint pain is something I've been hearing a lot about. Unfortunately, it does seem to be common. Please take note of this side effect if you're considering this medication.

Has anyone else noticed changes in eyesight? I've been having trouble with my vision lately, and I'm not sure if it's related to the Oseni. It's a bit frightening, especially when you consider the liver problems too. I'm scheduling an appointment with my doctor to get this checked out.

Oseni has been a life saver for me. I've tried other diabetes meds, but they gave me horrible side effects. I've only experienced a runny nose and slight headache from this one. I'm grateful to finally have something that works for me.

This thread is scary! If anyone knows of a safer alternative, I'm all ears.

I had a really bad reaction to Oseni – it gave me hives and I had trouble breathing. It was terrifying, and I had to go to the ER. I'm sticking to a different medication now, but I hope others can find something that works for them without the severe side effects.
