I've been taking Otezla (apremilast) 30mg tablets for about six months now to manage my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Initially, I was skeptical about an oral medication, having tried multiple topical treatments with limited success. However, Otezla has been a game-changer. I've noticed significant improvements in my skin lesions and joint pain, which has greatly improved my quality of life. Otezla works by reducing inflammation inside the body by blocking a specific enzyme called PDE4. This helps to calm down the overactive immune response that causes these conditions. While the side effects can be challenging, the benefits have far outweighed the drawbacks for me. I've experienced some mild side effects like headache and upset stomach, but nothing I couldn't manage. I'm curious to hear from others who have tried Otezla and their experiences with it. Has anyone had severe side effects or found other medications to be more effective?

Otezla has been a lifesaver for me too! My joints feel so much better, and my skin is clearing up. Just make sure to stay hydrated; it can cause some dehydration.

Has anyone else had issues with weight loss? I've dropped 10 pounds since starting Otezla, and I'm not sure if it's because of the meds or other factors. Not that I'm complaining; I could use the weight loss, but still.

Otezla has been a game-changer for me. For anyone considering it, definitely talk to your doctor about the side effects and how to manage them. The benefits have been worth it for me.

I wish I had known about the potential for mood changes. I experienced some irritability and nervousness in the first few weeks, but it subsided over time. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

I've been on Otezla for a year now. I've lost some weight, but I'm not sure if it's from the medication or my new exercise routine. Maybe some of both? Definitely worth keeping track of.

I had a bad experience with Otezla. The side effects were too much for me to handle. I had severe stomach pain and vomiting so bad that I had to be hospitalized. Ended up switching back to my previous treatment. Not worth it for me.

My doctor switched me from a biologic to Otezla because of the convenience of oral medication. The transition was smooth, and I haven't looked back. No more injections!.
