Serious question: How has anyone else dealt with the muscle spasms and weakness? I’m struggling with my daily activities.
I've been on Padcev for a few months now, and while it's been tough, I'd have to say it’s been worth it considering the results. The side effects are nothing to sneeze at, but my doctor has been great at managing them.
The hair loss was tough at first, but I got used to it and now I rock a hat most of the time. Just make sure you wear sunscreen under the hat, my friend got a nasty sunburn.
I got some serious eye irritation and dry skin but artificial tears and moisturizer helped. I recommend using fragrance-free products.
Padcev is known to cause urine tract infections. Make sure to drink plenty of water and keep an eye out for any burning sensations while urinating. If you notice any blood in your urine, seek medical attention immediately. It could be due to the medication or a sign of an underlying issue.
I got bad allergies reactions just a few minutes after my first dose and ended up in the ER. Definitely not fun.
The constipation and nausea were the worst for me. But I talked to my doctor and she recommended some dietary changes and over-the-counter meds that helped a lot.
It’s important to report any side effects to your doctor. My memory was a bit fuzzy and I first thought it was normal, but it turned out to be one of the side effects.
I’m scared to switch to Padcev after reading all these side effects. I was hoping for something safer.
My mom has been on this and we've dealt with the lung issues. Her doctor recommended some breathing exercises and to use a humidifier – have you tried those? I’m thinking about looking into an air purifier as well.
