I recently started taking Prednisolone 15mg/5ml Solution for a severe eczema flare-up. The doctor prescribed it to help reduce the inflammation and calm down my overactive immune system. I've been taking it for a week now, and I've noticed some improvements but I'm also experiencing some side effects like increased appetite and sleep disturbances. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences with this medication? What side effects did you encounter, and how did you manage them? Also, how long does it typically take to see significant improvements in skin conditions like eczema? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Cringe. You should see the acne I got from this stuff. I felt like I was back in high school.

I started taking Prednisolone for my arthritis and it has been a lifesaver! My joints feel so much better and I can move around without pain. But I do get thirsty all the time and have to keep drinking water to manage it. My doctor said it might be a side effect of the drug affecting blood sugar levels.

Yeah, the weight gain is no joke. I gained like 15 pounds in a month. My face got all puffy and my tummy blew up. I felt like a balloon.

This stuff is amazing for allergies. I’ve taken it a few times a year during peak allergy season. It really helps with the swelling and redness. Just be careful with the dosing, they were wrong once and it made things worse.

Prednisolone is a powerful steroid, so it’s important to follow your doctor’s instructions carefully. For example, you shouldn't stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this can cause serious withdrawal symptoms. Always talk to your healthcare provider if you have any concerns or questions about your medication.
