I've been on Repatha for about six months now, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. It's been effective in lowering my 'bad' cholesterol, but I've also had some side effects that I wasn't expecting. Has anyone else dealt with nose or throat irritation, and if so, how did you manage it? I'm trying to figure out if the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Also, I've seen some posts about high blood sugar symptoms — is this something I should be particularly concerned about? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've seen some scary side effects on here. I've never had any issues with blood sugar, but I certainly know some people who have. Be safe everyone!

I've had a few bruises at the injection site. I heard if you don't rotate injections sites the pain and bruising can worsen. I know it can be tricky, but I've found switching sides between arms has been helpful.

Repatha has been a game-changer for me, especially since diet and other medications weren’t enough. I didn’t have any major side effects, but I did notice some irritation at the injection site. I switched to a different part of my body each time, and that seemed to help. Also, make sure to keep an eye on your blood sugar levels, even if you don’t have diabetes. Just a heads-up!

I had to switch to Repatha after statins weren't enough. It's been a bit of a journey, but I'm glad I did it. Just make sure you monitor your blood sugar levels closely.

As someone who’s dealt with really high cholesterol, Repatha has been a lifesaver. Just make sure to report any side effects you experience to the FDA. It helps them keep track of how the medication is affecting people in the long run.

Anyone else experiencing back pain? I've had a few flare-ups, and I'm wondering if it could be linked to the medication.

I’ve been on Repatha for a few months and it’s worked well for me, but I did have some minor side effects like nose and throat irritation. Drinking plenty of water and using a nasal spray helped me manage it. It’s worth the hassle if it means lowering your cholesterol!
