My Experience with Rituxan Hycela 1600mg: Side Effects and What to Expect
I've been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and recently started treatment with Rituxan Hycela 1600mg Inj. I wanted to share my experience, particularly focusing on the side effects and how I've been managing them. It's a bit of a journey, but I hope my insights can help others who are about to start this treatment. I'd love to hear from others who have gone through this as well, and any advice you might have. Let's talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Seriously, if you have a weird tingling or burning sensation, don't just write it off as some side effect. I had to stop the treatment for almost a year and take a break when it so bad I couldn’t speak correctly for an hour before I could get help. It was awful. So get it checked out immediately. Just sayin’
I had a severe allergic reaction after my first dose. It was scary, but thankfully my doctor had me prepped with meds to counteract the reaction. I had to switch to a different treatment but the alternative worked for me. I can’t stress enough how important it is to be monitored closely by medical professionals... especially during that initial infusion.
Be prepared for the fatigue. I felt like I was hitting a wall every day. But I found that light exercise and a balanced diet helped me feel a bit better. Also, make sure to drink plenty of water and rest if you need to. If you're feeling weird or spots or bruises popping up everywhere, get it checked out immediately. I was lucky to have a good support system — friends and family who helped me out when I needed it most. But to each their own. Your mileage may vary on these suggestions
If you experience any hair loss, it’s usually temporary. But it can be tough on the ego. I saw my hair coming out in clumps. Take a deep breath and realize it’s temporary. But just be forewarned. It’s not a fun thing to go through.
I’m curious, have you noticed any changes in your energy levels? I had heard a lot about the fatigue but not much about how it impacted day to day tasks. Thank you for sharing your story.
Hang in there! I went through this treatment a few years ago, and while the side effects were challenging, the relief from the cancer symptoms was worth it. Just make sure to stay in close contact with your healthcare team. And if you experience any severe symptoms, don't hesitate to seek immediate help.
This is intense. I can’t imagine having to go through something like this... I’m here for anyone needing a chat or a distraction. Just remember it's good to laugh along the way.
