I was recently diagnosed with lupus and started using Saphnelo 300/2ml Sol Injection. It’s been a few weeks, and while I’ve noticed some improvement in my symptoms, I’m also experiencing some side effects that have me concerned. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Saphnelo? I’d love to hear your thoughts and any tips for managing side effects. This drug blocks Type I interferon, which is supposed to help with inflammation. I'm curious how others are finding the balance between effectiveness and tolerability. If you’re on Saphnelo or have been, please share your story. I’d really appreciate the input!

I’ve been on Saphnelo for over a year, and while it’s helped a lot with my lupus symptoms, I’ve also developed shingles. It was horrible, and I had to take time off work. It’s a tough call, but I think the benefits outweigh the risks for me. Just make sure to stay in close contact with your doctor!

I can think of a few things to take your mind off of it; you might want to check out the documentation I posted a while ago. I posted my ritual for getting the most out of the treatment with as few side effects as possible. It’s all about consistency. And you can really tone down the negative effects if you’re mindful. I’ll check to see if it’s still there.

I had a really bad reaction to Saphnelo, like it was instant. I started to feel dizzy and faint—I thought I was going to pass out. I called my doctor, and he said it was a rare reaction and I might be allergic. I’m off it now, and it’s been much better. But it was scary.

Just a heads up, but if you experience any signs of infection, like a severe sore throat or fever, get to a doctor ASAP. I had a friend who ignored these symptoms and ended up in the hospital. Better safe than sorry!

This stuff is a lifesaver for me. I had a pretty bad flare-up before I started taking it, and since then, it's been much more manageable. The side effects were pretty mild for me— just a bit of fatigue and some nausea. I’ve found that taking it with food helps a lot.

Anyone else feel like they're constantly sweating since starting Saphnelo? It's insane. I'm always carrying tissues around to wipe my forehead. Plus, I have to get up a lot at night to pee.
