I've been on Synjardy 12.5-500mg Tablets for about six months now, and while it's helped manage my type 2 diabetes, the side effects have been a bit of a roller coaster. It's a combination of empagliflozin and metformin, and it works by helping my kidneys remove more sugar through urine and improving my body's insulin usage. The good news is my blood sugar levels have stabilized, but I've had to deal with some irritating side effects like frequent urination and occasional headaches.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? I'm curious if there are any tricks to minimize these side effects. I've also heard about more serious potential side effects like kidney problems and infections. It's a bit scary, so I'm extra diligent about staying hydrated and monitoring my symptoms. I'd love to hear from others who are on this medication and how they're coping. What are the best ways to manage the side effects, and what are the signs to look out for?

I've also been thinking about whether it's worth switching to a different medication or adding something else to my treatment plan. It's a tough call, so I'd appreciate any insights or stories from others in a similar situation. Let's share our experiences and support each other through this journey!

The frequent urination was tough at first, but I just make sure to drink plenty of water and plan my day around bathroom breaks. It's worth it for the blood sugar control.

I'm concerned about the rare but severe side effects. How often do these actually happen? Should I be really worried?

I switched my medication to Synjardy and it's been a game changer. My doctor suggested taking the pill during night. The side effects decreased dramatically.

I've had luck with taking the pill with meals so that it doesn't upset my stomach. The side effects were annoying but bearable.

I've been searching for the best probiotic that can help with the yeast infections. Do any of you have a favorite?

I've been on Synjardy for a year and I'm happy with the results. My blood sugar is much more stable, but I did have some yeast infections at first. Switching to non-sugar tampons and using probiotics helped a lot.

I'm new to Synjardy. How often do people experience kidney problems? That's really scary.

I've had some really bad low blood sugar episodes since I started Synjardy. Be careful if you're also on other diabetes meds.
