I've been using Tacrolimus 0.1% Ointment for a few weeks to treat my severe eczema. Has anyone else tried this? I'm curious to hear about your experiences with it. I have experienced some skin irritation, but I'm hoping it should go away after my skin adjusts to the ointment. Also, has anyone experienced any serious side effects? I'm a bit worried about the potential for these. I've read some reviews where people rave about it, others complain of side effects. Thanks in advance for your responses!

I've had to make sure to keep my skin cool while using this ointment. For some reason, it makes it more sensitive to heat in the summer. I keep AC on full blast while I'm inside and avoid going outside during peak heat hours. Plus, I use a fan in my bedroom to keep it cool.

I had a bad reaction to this ointment. I developed a rash that was worse than the eczema itself. I went to the ER because I was really worried and they told me to stop using it immediately. It was scary, but I’m doing better now with a different medication.

Serious question: Is it safe to use while pregnant? I've been struggling with eczema and my doctor mentioned this, but I want to make sure it's completely safe before I start using it.

I've been using it for a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my eczema. The itching and redness have significantly reduced. I did have some initial skin irritations, but they went away after a few weeks. Plus, I haven't experienced any serious side effects, which is a huge relief. Just make sure to use it as prescribed and follow up with your doctor regularly.

I've used it for a few weeks and I feel like I'm on the right track but I am worried about the risk of more serious side effects. Has anyone experienced any kidney issues or skin lumps? I've read the instructions a zillion times but it's hard to shake the feeling that something bad will happen.

I tried it for a month and saw no improvement. In fact, I felt like my skin got worse. I think it’s important to give it some time, but if it doesn’t work within a couple of months, it might be worth considering other options. I switched to a different topical cream and it works much better for me.

I've been using it for a few months now and I've noticed that my skin feels a lot better. It’s like I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. When I first started, I was really nervous about the side effects, but luckily, I haven’t had any major issues.

I've had mixed experiences with it. It worked well for a while, but then I started getting these weird skin bumps that felt like pimples. They were pretty annoying, but after talking to my doctor, I realized it was just a side effect. I ended up switching to a different treatment because of these bumps.
