I've been using Tazarotene 0.05% Cream for the past few months to treat my stubborn acne and psoriasis. The cream has been a game-changer in terms of reducing inflammation and clearing up my skin. However, I've experienced some side effects that I hadn't anticipated. The most notable is increased sensitivity to the sun, which has resulted in some unwanted sunburns. Additionally, my skin has been quite dry and sometimes itchy, which can be uncomfortable. I've been applying a gentle moisturizer regularly, which has helped a bit. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this cream and how they've managed these side effects. I'd love to know if anyone has found any remedies or tips to make the side effects more bearable or if anyone has managed to take this medicine without any issues.

Lol, I thought I was going to die from the sun damage! Sunscreen is my new best friend.

I've had a much better experience with Tazarotene. I've kept up with the treatment for almost a year now. The initial dryness and irritation were annoying, but overall, I've had great results and didn't have any of the scary side effects. I think it's important to talk to your doctor regularly and report any concerns.

Anyone else used both Tazarotene and Accutane for acne? How do they compare?

I've been using Tazarotene for about 6 months now, and while it's helped clear up my acne, the dryness and irritation have been a challenge. I've found that using a thick moisturizer at night helps a lot. I've definitely had to be more diligent about sunscreen too.

I'm thinking of getting this cream but scared of the side effects. I’m not sure what I’ll do if I get any of the severe symptoms! Did anyone have to switch because of this?

I can’t believe this stuff doesn't make you heal overnight. It's been over 2 months and barely any changes.
