I've been taking Tetracycline 250mg Capsules for the past month to treat my acne, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin. I've also been dealing with some minor side effects, but nothing too severe. The most common side effects I've experienced are diarrhea and stomach pain, which I've been managing by taking the medication with food and staying hydrated. However, I've heard that some people can experience more serious side effects, so I wanted to start a discussion to see if anyone else has had similar experiences or can offer some advice on how to manage these side effects. I'm also curious to know if anyone has had to deal with any of the more severe side effects listed in the medication guide, such as signs of an allergic reaction or liver problems. Please share your experiences and any tips you might have for making the most of this medication!

I've been taking them for a month for my acne and I've noticed a little bit of tooth discoloration. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure if it's related to the medication or not.

This may seem silly, but my sister who is a dermatologist always says that the success of antibiotics like tetracycline for acne can be attributed to how well you are treating the rest of your body. You have to take vitamins, drink plenty of water, and eat healthily. While I don't know if this applies to other bacteria infections, it can really help with acne. Always want to avoid even the risk of bacterial resistance!

I've had great success with tetracycline for my acne. Just be prepared for some stomach upset at first. It goes away after a while, in my experience.

I had to take Tetracycline for a bad case of Gonorrhea. Doctors caught it early and it really helped, but I had to deal with some pretty bad diarrhea. I was really worried about it at first, but it turns out it was nothing. I was super relieved when I finally started to feel better.

To manage the diarrhea, try eating some yogurt. It helped me a lot when I was taking Tetracycline for my UTI. Also, avoid dairy products as much as possible. Make sure to stay hydrated and don’t forget that side effects can vary from person to person. It’s always best to consult your doctor if you’re experiencing any severe discomfort

I was prescribed Tetracycline for chlamydia. I didn't notice a lot of side effects, but I made sure to drink plenty of water and avoid dairy products, as they can interfere with the medication's effectiveness. I also took it with food to minimize any stomach discomfort. It's important to follow the doctor's instructions closely to avoid any potential issues.

I took tetracycline for a UTI a few years ago and it worked well, but I had some pretty bad stomach issues. I would try to take it on a full stomach next time. I also had to deal with a bit of nausea. I just tried to power through it, but I think as long as your UTI clears up that is what's most important.

I just started taking it yesterday, and I wanted to ask: how long did it take for your acne to start improving? I know everyone is different, but I figure I might as well start comparing notes. I've heard it can take up to 4 weeks to see improvements.
