My experience with Torisel 25mg/ml: Is it worth the side effects for kidney cancer treatment?
I've been on Torisel for a few months now to treat my kidney cancer. It's been a roller coaster. On one hand, I feel like it's helping, but the side effects are no joke. I've had everything from mouth sores to weird changes in taste. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Also what are the common ways to manage the side effects? I'm really struggling with the idea of someone else having it worse.

I've had some weird electrolyte problems. Doctor said it's common with Torisel. Just stay on top of it and you should be fine.
I've had high blood sugar since starting Torisel. It's been a struggle, but my doctor helped me manage it with diet and medication.
I had a bad allergic reaction to Torisel. It was terrifying. If you start to feel any kind of rash or swelling, get to a doctor right away.
I'm so sorry to hear that you're dealing with this. I was on Torisel for a while and the lung problems were the worst. If you start feeling short of breath, don't wait, go to the hospital.

I've been really struggling with the fatigue. It's like nothing I've ever felt before. Just keep pushing through.
I've been lucky with Torisel so far, just some mild stomach issues. But I've heard horror stories about the acidosis. Please be careful and keep an eye out for those symptoms.
I've been on Torisel for about 6 months now, and the side effects have been tough, but I've found that staying hydrated and eating small, frequent meals helps with the nausea and mouth sores. Good luck.
