I've been on Treanda (Bendamustine) 25mg Inj for a few months now, as part of my treatment for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have been through this. What were your experiences like? How did you cope with the side effects? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'll start by saying that I've had some fatigue and nausea, but nothing I can't handle. The nurse was great about checking the injection site for any issues, and so far, so good on that front. I'm just hoping to hear from others who have been on this treatment and can share their stories.

On a lighter note, I've been trying to find some humor in all of this. I told my family that with my new 'chemo haircut,' I'm embracing the bald look! It's been a good laughs.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this, but it's great that you're finding ways to cope with it. Remember that it's okay to have bad days, and it's okay to ask for help when you need it.

I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helped with the nausea and upset stomach. It's a pain to have to eat all the time, but it's better than feeling sick.

I had some issues with bruising and bleeding gums, so make sure to be extra careful if you notice any unusual bruising. You'll be in good hands, but just be cautious.

I found the dry mouth to be the worst side effect for me. My doctor recommended using a mouth rinse specifically for dry mouth, and it made a world of difference.

I had some weird taste changes while on Treanda. Everything tasted like metal for a while. I'm not sure if that's a common side effect, but it was definitely an odd one.

I was on Treanda for a while, and I found that ginger candies helped with the nausea. Can't say they got rid of it completely, but they definitely took the edge off.
