I've been on Trelstar Mixject 22.5mg for about six months now, and I wanted to share my experience. This drug has been a game-changer in slowing down the growth of my prostate cancer, but it hasn't been an easy road. The injections every three months are manageable, but the side effects have been tough. I've experienced some hot flashes, fatigue, and even some muscle weakness at times. But the biggest challenge has been the erectile dysfunction—it's been a real blow to my quality of life. I’m not alone; many others have had similar experiences. I’ve tried different strategies to cope, like adjusting my diet and staying active, but it’s still a daily struggle. I’m curious to hear from others who are on this journey—how are you managing the side effects, and what advice do you have for making this treatment as bearable as possible?

I just started this treatment. It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I’m already feeling the fatigue. Any tips for managing energy levels? I’ve tried coffee, but it doesn’t seem to help much.

I know it’s tough, but try to focus on the positive. You’re fighting this cancer, and that’s a huge thing. Keep your spirits up and remember why you’re doing this.

I'm really glad you shared your experience. I'm currently on Trelstar Mixject as well, and the erectile dysfunction has been tough on me too. I’ve started seeing a urologist who specializes in men's health, and they’ve given me a few tips to help manage it. It’s been a slow process, but I can definitely see some improvement. I’ve been using supplements like L-Arginine and L-Citrulline, and they’ve seemed to help a bit. Good luck, and keep us updated on your progress

I think many people don’t realize how tough these treatments can be. It’s not just about the cancer; it’s the whole package deal. I’ve been on this journey for a while, and the mental toll is almost as bad as the physical one. Stay strong, and remember, you’re not alone in this fight.

I'm so sorry to hear about the side effects. It sounds like you're going through a lot. I hope you consult your doctor about adjusting your dosage or trying a different medication. There might be alternatives that could work better for you.

I appreciate your honesty. I've noticed a lot of the side effects, too. I've been trying acupuncture to help manage the fatigue and hot flashes. It's a bit pricey, but it seems to help. I also make sure to get plenty of rest

I had no idea about the increased risk of cardiovascular events. That’s scary stuff. I’ve been really careful about monitoring my blood pressure and cholesterol. I’ve cut out a lot of processed foods and red meat. It’s challenging, but I feel it’s worth it to stay healthy. I do worry about the long-term effects, though.

Hot flashes are brutal. I used to have them so bad. I tried going to a sauna, and believe it or not, it helped me feel better

I’ve been on Trelstar for about a year now. The side effects were tough at first, but they got better over time. I did have to quit working out for a while due to joint pain. I noticed my mood was also all over the place for a bit. Hang in there—it does get better!

Anyone else having trouble sleeping? I’ve been tossing and turning all night. And you know what? My dreams are different too. I keep dreaming about being in some sort of dystopian wasteland. Not fun.
