I've recently been prescribed Trihexyphenidyl 2mg Tablets to help manage my tremors and stiffness from Parkinson's disease. I was surprised to find that there are some serious side effects to watch out for. I've been taking it for a few weeks, and so far, I've noticed a bit of dizziness, but nothing too severe. I'm curious to hear from others who might have more experience with this medication. How have your experiences been, and what side effects have you encountered? Also, are there any tips to managing these side effects that you can share?

I've been really careful since starting this medication. The side effects list is pretty scary, especially the neuroleptic malignant syndrome stuff. I've been monitoring my temperature and sweating patterns, which is a bit obsessive, but better safe than sorry! I've always trusted doctors with prescription medication, but the side effects are concerning, especially since the list isn't exhaustive. If you have concerns, it's ok to call the FDA hotline or chat on the website.

I just started Trihexyphenidyl and I'm feeling really drowsy. It's affecting my daily activities. Anyone have some tips to manage this?

I've had to be really careful with my medication timing. If I take it too close to bedtime, I get really dizzy in the morning. It's been a bit of a balancing act, but I think I've figured it out. Also, I tried to make my diet and exercise routines work together. I've had to make some tough decisions about taking this medication. It helps with the tremors and stiffness, but the side effects can be rough.

I've been on Trihexyphenidyl for a while now, and while it's helped with my muscle spasms, I've had some pretty intense hallucinations. It was scary at first, but my doctor adjusted my dose, and it's been manageable since. Be sure to talk to your doctor if you experience anything like that.

This medication is a lifesaver for me. The side effects are tough, but they're manageable. I've found that staying hydrated and eating smaller, more frequent meals helps with the constipation and stomach issues. It's also important to keep an open dialogue with your doctor. They can adjust your dose or switch you to a different medication if the side effects are too much to handle.

I was prescribed Trihexyphenidyl after starting a new antipsychotic. It helped control the muscle spasms, but I had to deal with some serious constipation. I had to make some dietary changes and drink more water. It also made me feel a bit out of it, like I was walking around in a daze. But it could be worth it for some people who need relief from drug-induced extrapyramidal reactions.

Dry mouth is the worst! I've been chewing gum non-stop since I started taking this. Anyone else have this issue?

Has anyone tried any natural alternatives to manage Parkinson's symptoms before resorting to medication?

I've heard mixed reviews about Trihexyphenidyl. Some people swear by it, while others have had terrible experiences. I think it really depends on the individual and their specific symptoms.
