My experience with Vimpat 100mg and the side effects I've encountered
Vimpat, or Lacosamide 100mg is a medication that has been really helpful in controlling my seizures. However, I have had a couple of questions about the side effects. I've experienced some dizziness and blurred vision, but I am managing it with regular breaks and eye exercises. But what worries me is the list of potential side effects. Has anyone else experienced something similar? How do I know when something is too serious to ignore?

I had a really bad reaction to this drug. I had trouble breathing and my face swelled up. I went to the ER and they told me to stop taking it immediately. I'm glad I listened to my instincts.
I read the list of side effects and it scared me. I wonder how common these severe reactions are. Has anyone had any experience with these or is this just a scare tactic?
I've been seizure-free since starting Vimpat, but the excessive sweating has been brutal. Any tips to manage that?
I've been on Vimpat for a few months and the dizziness is real. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helps with the drowsiness and nausea. Keep an eye on those serious side effects—you know your body best!
I haven't had any major issues, but I did notice some memory problems. It's tough to tell if it's the medication or just stress. Anyone else deal with this?
My wife had some kidney problems when she started this med. It got to the point where she was in the hospital for a few days but she stopped the meds and she was fine
