I've been prescribed Lurasidone 20mg Tablets for my bipolar depression, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. This is my first experience on this medication. I'm taking it once a day with food as instructed, but I've been experiencing some dizziness and drowsiness. Anyone else had similar side effects? How long did they last? Also, I've heard about some serious side effects like muscle stiffness and seizures. Is anyone familiar with those? Should I be concerned or is this a common occurrence? I'd appreciate any advice or personal experiences you're willing to share on this type of medication.

I was on it for a year and then my psychiatrist decided to switch me to another medication for better results. It was fine, just not the best for me!

I've been on Lurasidone for about six months now, and the dizziness did go away after a few weeks. Stick with it, it might just take some time for your body to adjust. As for the serious side effects, my doctor said they're rare but to keep an eye out. If you notice anything unusual, definitely call your doctor.

I had a friend who had to stop taking it because it fucked up her menstrual cycle.

Dizziness is a common side effect, just take it easy and see how you feel after a few weeks. If it's really bad, talk to your doctor.

I had a rough time with the weight gain. Switched to another medication. It happens.

Lurasidone helped me a lot with my bipolar depression. I did gain some weight, but it was worth it for the stability it gave me. Just make sure to eat healthy and exercise to combat that side effect.

I was scared of the serious side effects too, but my doctor said they're really rare. Just keep an eye out and you should be fine.
