I recently had a kidney transplant and my doctor prescribed Sandimmune 50mg/ml Ampules for Injection. I know it's supposed to help prevent my body from rejecting the new kidney, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. I've read about things like high blood pressure, kidney problems, and even some serious brain issues. I'm seeing a lot of scary symptoms online. Has anyone else been through this? What was your experience like? My doctor said not to worry, but I'm just looking for some reassurance or advice from people who have been in a similar situation. My transplant went smoothly, but I'm super anxious about this medication.

Did your doctor mention anything about the long-term effects? I've heard it can affect your kidneys over time. I'm on the fence about staying on this medication long term.

Absolutely normal. Cyclosporine is standard post-transplant. Just be vigilant about infections and keep all your appointments. You'll be fine!

Sandimmune is a lifesaver in my case. I haven't had any severe side effects. I get regular check-ups and my doctor monitors my kidney function closely.

I've been on Sandimmune for a while now and it's manageable. The side effects can be a bit tough, but my doctor has been great at monitoring me. Just make sure to keep in touch with your healthcare provider and report any unusual symptoms right away.

I was on Sandimmune after my liver transplant. The side effects were rough, but my doctor adjusted the dose and it got better. Just communicate openly with your doctor.
