I’m considering Tri-Vi-flor 0.25mg/ml Drops 50ml for my 18-month-old, my pediatrician recommends it for essential vitamins and fluoride, I want to know if anyone has used this for their child. I’ve read about the possible side effects but still have concerns about allergic reactions or upset stomach. Has anyone experienced these issues? I'd also like to know if regular dental check-ups are necessary alongside the supplement. Your experiences and advice would be appreciated. What are your pro’s and con’s? What should I watch for?

I had the same concern. I asked my pediatrician to help me understand the content and my kid’s needs. The fluoride helps a lot with tooth development, but I used an alternative a few months. I ended up going back to Tri-Vi-flor though.

I had my kid go every 6 months. Our pediatrician recommended that. But it’s definitely worth checking with your own. Also, Tri-Vi-flor has been a lifesaver for my kid’s teeth.

My kid hates the taste of Tri-Vi-flor, but I mix it with a bit of juice and he doesn't notice. Also, the fluoride has definitely helped with his dental checkups. He's never had a cavity. My mom was shocked!

I’m a bit hesitant because of the fluoride content. Are there any alternatives that provide the same benefits without fluoride? My kid has sensitive teeth and I’m worried about overdoing it.

I didn't see any side effects either

We started using Tri-Vi-flor when my daughter was 6 months old. It’s been great for her overall development. I did notice a minor upset stomach initially, but it went away after a week. Just make sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully.

Someone else mentioned regular dental check ups — how often did you go? Once a year? Once every three months?
