I've been using Naftifine 2% Gel 45gm for a couple of weeks now to treat athlete's foot and jock itch. It's been a bit of a journey, and I wanted to share my experience with anyone else out there dealing with similar issues. The gel has been effective so far, but I've had some side effects that I want to discuss. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication and their experiences with side effects and effectiveness. Let's start the conversation and help each other out! Keep in mind, while I'm sharing my personal feelings, I’m not a doctor and advice should be taken with caution.

Anyone else have trouble with the application? I can’t get this stuff off my hands after using it. It does help a lot but the stickiness is a bit much.

My doctor recommended Naftifine for ringworm. I had a nasty rash and it was really uncomfortable. I’m not a doctor, but I found that applying it at night and letting it soak in overnight helped a lot. Very honestly, I started to feel better within a week.

I had a bad reaction to this stuff. I broke out in hives and it was horrible. I had to go to the ER because I couldn’t breathe properly. I had no idea it could be so serious. I thought it was just something I could deal with. Please be careful out there.

I had a weird reaction to Naftifine. My skin turned red and it felt like it was on fire. It was like that for about 24 hours and then it went away. Don’t know if it’s a great sign. I hope it’s not. I don’t want to have to stop using this stuff but I’m not sure I can keep going if it does that again.

I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and my skin has never looked better. I’m just wondering how long you need to use the tube for. I’m guessing I’ll be done with it in a week or so. Is that typical?

I read that you should avoid using Naftifine on broken skin, but I accidentally did it anyway and it burned. Not great.
