I was recently prescribed Nalbuphine 20mg/ml Inj, 10ml for severe pain management after a surgery. I've heard that it works differently from typical opioid pain medications, and it's been interesting to see the effects. It acts on specific receptors in the brain and spinal cord, which is supposedly why it's effective for moderate to severe pain. My doctor mentioned that it's often used during surgery, which makes sense given its potency. However, I'm curious about the side effects. I've read about some urgent side effects and my doctor did not want to go into detail, I want to know what others have experienced. How have others managed the side effects, if any, and what precautions should I take?

I was prescribed this after a major surgery and it worked wonders for my pain. Just make sure to keep an eye out for any allergic reactions, especially in the first few doses. But I'll admit, the dizziness was a bit rough.

Great thread! I've been doing some research and apparently, some people have had no issues with side effects. It really varies, and it's a relief to know that others have had different experiences. Just monitor it closely, and you should be okay.

I've had a few friends on this medication and they've all said it's more effective than traditional opioids, but the side effects can be intense. Make sure to talk to your doctor about what to expect.

I had a horrible experience with Nalbuphine. I ended up with severe constipation and had to stop taking it. It's not for everyone, that's for sure.

I had a really bad reaction to it. I woke up in the middle of the night shaking and sweating. Turns out it was serotonin syndrome, but I didn't know that at the time. Scary stuff, so be cautious.
