I was recently prescribed Naproxen Sod 500mg CR Tablets for persistent joint pain and inflammation. The doctor explained that Naproxen sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing the substances in the body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. The 'CR' or 'Controlled-Release' means the medicine is released slowly over time, so you usually only need to take it once a day. I was relieved to find that it seemed to work well initially, but I've since started to worry about the potential side effects. Has anyone else experienced any of the serious side effects listed, such as allergic reactions, kidney problems, or bleeding issues? I want to make sure I'm not missing any important signs to watch out for.

Stomach pain is the worst, even with the right diet. It’s a relief the pain meds work but I’m ready to try something else.

I just started taking these. Is it common to feel tired after taking them? I took my first dose last night and I feel pretty exhausted today.

I had a really bad reaction to it. I woke up one day with a severe rash and my doctor said it was an allergic reaction. I had to stop taking it and switch to something else. Be careful and watch out for any skin reactions.

I'm on these and I feel like it has helped a lot with my joint pain. I did notice a bit of drowsiness at first, but it went away after a week or so.

I've been on Naproxen for years and I was almost 100% sure it was safe but I've heard of some pretty scary urinary or heart troubles in some users.

I've heard that some people experience high blood pressure or kidney issues with prolonged use. If you start feeling dizziness, headache, or have issues with urination, it might be worth getting checked out.

Extreme Fatigue? Yep! I've had issues with extreme tiredness. I talked to my Doc and they recommended taking it at night. No more issues since. Also, it helped my knee pain a lot.

I've been on Naproxen for a few months now and haven't experienced any serious side effects. Just the occasional stomach pain, but nothing too bad.
