I've recently started taking Pazopanib 200mg Tablets for renal cell carcinoma, and I'm looking for insights into managing its side effects. The drug information sheet is extensive, especially with the urgent and heart-related side effects. It would be helpful to hear from others who have been on this medication and how they handled these challenges. For example: what's the best way to deal with common side effects like nausea, fatigue, and changes in taste? Have you had to contact your doctor for help? How frequently do you need to monitor for severe side effects, and how do you keep track of everything? Let's share our experiences, tips, and anything that might help others who are starting this medication.

I've been on Pazopanib for about 6 months now, and honestly, the fatigue and nausea were the hardest to deal with at first. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals really helped with the nausea. And for the fatigue, it was a matter of pacing myself and not overexerting. For monitoring, I keep a detailed journal of any symptoms and changes, and my doctor checks my blood pressure and thyroid levels regularly.

Anyone else experience hair loss? I’ve had to start wearing wigs, and it’s been a real adjustment. How did you cope at the start

I've been on Pazopanib for over a year, and the biggest challenge for me has been managing the fatigue. I've found that staying active, even on days when I don't feel like it, really helps keep the fatigue at bay. Plus, my oncologist recommended a physical therapist to help with muscle pain and bone pain. It's been a game-changer. I also keep a detailed symptom log for my appointments, which helps my doctor adjust my treatment as needed.

I just started taking Pazopanib and I'm dreading the potential side effects. Has anyone had serious issues with heart problems or blood pressure? I'm a bit freaked out by that part.

This is a tough one, but worth it if it works. I started Pazopanib a few months ago and had some crazy fatigue and constant nausea. I got prescribed Zofran for the nausea, which really helped. My doctors have been amazing, and I check in with them weekly. I also keep a log of my symptoms, and that has helped them a lot when adjusting my dosage.
