So I just started Nerlynx for my HER2-positive breast cancer, and I'm curious about others' experiences. The side effects, especially diarrhea, are no joke, but I know it's crucial to stick with it. Has anyone else faced issues with fluid and electrolyte problems? I'm trying to manage everything exactly as prescribed—any tips on handling the side effects? I already know that I need to be vigilant, but it's still a lot to deal with. What have other people done to manage their symptoms and stay on track?

NERLYNX made me SO tired and weak at first. I just tried to listen to my body as much as I could, and it got all better. You will be okay.

I wish I'd read these comments earlier. I've had terrible diarrhea, and I wish I'd known how common it is. Good luck to everyone on Nerlynx. I hope you get to be okay.

Diarrhea is definitely the worst. I started taking Nerlynx a few months ago and it was rough at first, but I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals and staying hydrated helped a lot. Also, my doctor recommended Imodium for those really bad days.

I just finished my first month on Nerlynx and I've been dealing with some stomach issues for sure, but I also noticed some fatigue. Anyone else experience that? I've been trying to listen to my body and rest as much as needed.

This is why I always tell people to keep the phone number of their doctor handy. If you feel an unexpected symptom, call your doctor! They can help you so much.

Try to keep a diary of your side effects and their severity. It helps to show your doctor and you can figure out how to help them together. Go for it!

I had to switch to a different medication because of the severe diarrhea. It was awful, but my doctor was really understanding and helped me find an alternative. I feel soo much better now. I hope the same for you and you take the treatment you need.

I can't tolerate the food requirement. I always forget and then feel horrible!

Two months in, and I've had it easier than I expected. I've had some mild diarrhea, but nothing too bad. I just make sure to eat well and stay hydrated. Hang in there!
