I've been prescribed Nesina 25mg Tablets to manage my type 2 diabetes, and I'm curious about the side effects. The medication has helped lower my blood sugar levels, but I'm concerned about the potential for severe complications. I want to know if anyone else has experienced significant side effects or has any tips on managing them. Has anyone encountered any issues with an allergic reaction or liver problems? I'm also wondering about the less severe side effects like headaches and cold symptoms, which are listed as possible side effects. If so, how did you manage them? Has anyone reported side effects to the FDA, and if so, what was your experience with that? Any insights would be appreciated!

I found some helpful tips online for managing low blood sugar. I keep glucose tablets handy and use them at the first sign of dizziness or confusion. It's a lifesaver!

These Nesina side effects (pancreas problem, pancreatitis) sound dangerous – I must’ve missed that. I am not taking Nesina now. I am on Metformin, but I am thinking about switching. I heard symptoms of pancreatitis include severe stomach pain, severe back pain, and severe nausea and vomiting. Thanks for the heads up!

Honestly, I think the risk of side effects is worth it if the medication helps control blood sugar. I've had no issues so far, and my levels are finally under control. But I am worried about the side effects. Thanks for this post. I will keep an eye on it.

Low blood sugar is a bummer, but it's manageable. I keep some juice boxes in my desk at work, and if I feel shaky or confused, I just have one and I'm good to go. I've told my doctor about it, but I don't think its a big problem.

Be very careful with this medication. My cousin had a severe allergic reaction after starting Nesina. It was terrifying. He had a rash and swelling in his face, and it was definitely life-threatening. He had to go to the ER and get treated immediately.

Has anyone tried reporting side effects to the FDA? I want to do it, but I'm not sure how the process works.

I had a friend who got severe liver problems, and he had to quit the drug after 5 months. He also couldn't go to the ER immediately, which worried me a lot. He experienced yellow skin and eyes and diarrhea. I am not sure if that is a side effect of Nesina, but he got better after quitting.

I've had joint pain since I started taking Nesina, but it's not disabling. I just take some ibuprofen and it helps. But I am thinking about seeing a doctor because this isn't normal. I know lots of people just don't notice the pain, but I definitely do. Better safe than sorry.
