I've been struggling with acne for years and have tried countless products and medications. A few months ago, my dermatologist prescribed me Neuac 1.2-5% Gel. This gel is a combination of clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide, which supposedly works wonders to kill acne-causing bacteria and unclog pores. I have been using it religiously for about two months now. The gel itself is easy to apply and doesn't have a strong smell. It’s a bit drier than some other acne treatments I’ve used in the past. I noticed some initial irritation, but it subsided after a week or so. Overall, my skin has improved quite a bit, but I’m still dealing with some breakouts. I’m curious to hear from others who have used this treatment. What kind of results have you seen? Also, what side effects did you encounter? I've heard there are some severe reactions, so I'm a bit nervous. Any tips for minimizing side effects?

I completely agree, I never use it before bed and I never get those reactions. I use it in the morning and it works for me.

Be careful, though. I had a friend who experienced some pretty severe side effects, including severe diarrhea. She had to stop using it immediately and seek medical attention. Make sure you read the warnings carefully!

I've been using Cerave moisturizing cream, and it works really well with the Neuac gel. My skin feels a lot better now. Plus, my breakouts have been almost non-existent for the past few weeks!

I think everyone responds differently to medications. I've had no issues at all. My skin has never looked better!

Just a heads-up to anyone who's worried about the side effects—they do say it's rare. Just be mindful, know the symptoms, and you should be fine.

I've been using Neuac for about a month now, and I've seen a significant reduction in breakouts. The gel is easy to apply and doesn't dry out my skin too much. Has anyone else had issues with irritation?

I had some initial irritation too, but it cleared up after a few days. The key is to use a light moisturizer afterwards. It's worth the trade-off for clearer skin.
