I was recently prescribed Relyvrio for my ALS, and I've been using it for a few weeks now. Relyvrio is a powder that you mix with water and drink, which seems pretty straightforward. It contains sodium phenylbutyrate and taurursodiol, which are supposed to help protect nerve cells from damage. I've had some questions about the side effects, though. I've experienced a bit of stomach pain, but nothing too severe. However, I'm curious about the more urgent side effects like allergic reactions. Has anyone else had any issues or concerns? Also, how does everyone else handle the increased saliva production? Any tips would be appreciated.

I've been on Relyvrio for a month now and haven't experienced any major side effects. Just a bit of tiredness, but nothing unbearable. My doctor was really helpful in explaining everything. I get really anxious so I'm glad I checked it before taking it

I've not clear if it's working, but I'm trying to stay positive and keep up with the treatment. It's tough, but I'm doing my best to manage. It has helped be beat back some of the symptoms sometimes, but I'm not sure if it's just the placebo effect. Any advice would be good for moving forward

I took Relyvrio and had some increased saliva production and stomach pain. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm glad to know it's not just me. Not fun, but manageable.

I switched to Relyvrio after trying a few other treatments. The powder mix is a bit of an adjustment, but it's not too bad. I've had some diarrhea, but it's manageable. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and maybe have some electrolyte drinks for you electrolytes! I've also noticed a slight increase in saliva production.

I haven’t had any experience with it yet, but I saw that Relyvrio is supposed to have some pretty serious side effects? Anyone know if there are any long-term studies on this yet? I wouldn't mind some reassurance about this.

I just got prescribed Relyvrio and I'm terrified of the side effects. I don't want to deal with allergic reactions or anything serious. But it's pretty scary to think about what happens if I don't take it, you know? Hope this can help with the ALS

Has anyone else noticed any changes in energy levels? I've felt really weak and dizzy at times, but it could be the ALS too. I'm still trying to figure out what's what. I've seen some of the physical therapy workouts suggested in here and it's been really helpful. Would love some more information or recommendations

I've been dealing with a lot of diarrhea and stomach pain, but it's all part of the process. It's hard, I won't lie, but I'm doing my best to stay positive. I'm just trying to take it one day at a time and try to keep my spirits up. I know this is something we have to do to keep going.

I don't get why people are so worried about side effects. I've had diarrhea and upset stomach, but it's nothing compared to ALS! We have to take this stuff to fight the real problem.
