I feel like the side effects are manageable if you take the medication as directed and follow up regularly with your doctor. I was so scared to start but after reading a lot and talking to my doctor I decided to give it a go. For me, it's been a good decision.
I had really bad flu-like symptoms for the first week but it went away and never came back. Just make sure you have a good supply of tissues and rest up before you start. It was worth it to have my breathing return to a more manageable level
I was on Roflumilast for a while and I really didn't experience any severe side effects. I did have some trouble sleeping at first, but it got better over time. I didn't feel like it made a huge difference in my COPD symptoms, but it didn't make them worse either. I guess for me it was just okay. My doctor said that can happen and we just switched me to something new
Why is it that all these medications seem to come with a list of side effects longer than the list of benefits? It's crazy how we have to choose between being sick from the disease or being sick from the medicine. Good luck with it all though, hope it works for you

I've heard of this drug but haven't tried it yet. I've had a lot of issues with side effects from other medications in the past, so I'm a bit hesitant. Is it true that people with a history of depression are at higher risk of side effects?
I would be really careful with this medication. My neighbor was on something similar and ended up in the hospital with severe allergic reactions. It's not worth the risk for me. Have you tried all other options first?
