New to Advair HFA 230/21mcg: What to Expect and Tips for Success
I've recently been prescribed Advair HFA 230/21mcg and I'm a bit nervous about starting it. I've read about the possible side effects and I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. I just want to be prepared and know what to look out for. Anyone have some tips or advice on how to manage any potential issues? It'll be helpful to hear from others who have been on this medication for a while.

Advair is great but you have to be diligent with it. I felt like I wasn't getting my daily dose correctly because my technique wasn't great. A respiratory therapist helped me out a lot.
I've heard people talk about the rare but serious side effects. If you ever feel really bad, go to the ER immediately. Better safe than sorry.
I had some really bad side effects with Advair. I felt like I was having a heart attack. Turns out it was the medication. I switched to something else and I'm doing great now.
Be cautious with the side effects. I had some dizziness initially, but my doctor adjusted the dose and it helped a lot. Definitely talk to your doctor if you notice anything unusual.
I switched to Advair from another inhaler and the difference was night and day. No more midnight asthma attacks! Just make sure you use it as prescribed.
I've been on Advair for a few years now and it's been a game-changer for my asthma. Just remember to use it regularly and not as a rescue inhaler. I had a bit of throat irritation at first, but it went away after a while.
